Asus Zenfone sales mark to surpass 2 lakhs by September end in India

Earlier in July, Asus announced that the aggregate sales of the Zenfone series reached 40,000 mark in mere four days post launch of the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. Zenfone sales then touched a new mark of 1 lakh by the end of August, now the company has announced that it will cross the 2 lakhs mark by the end of Q3 2014, which is September end.

After unveiling three Zenfone smartphones, Asus announced the Zenfone 4 A450CG, a pocket-friendly smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 6999 in September. These new Asus Zenfone smartphones are giving stiff competition to other smartphones belonging to mid and low range.

Regarding the Zenfone stocks, Asus said, "With an attainable aim to be amongst the top 10 smartphone providers this year and top 5 by 2015, the company is constantly filling in the stocks to ascertain sufficient supply. 20,000 Zenfone 5 units were brought in earlier today on Flipkart and were sold out within few hours of being available. The company is constantly acting in order to meet the demand and also to cater to all their requirements with the firmware updates.
