Asus has launched a new variant of the Zenfone 4 exclusively on Flipkart. The Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG comes with a larger 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution, an 8MP camera with LED flash and a beefier 1750 mAh battery as opposed to the 4-inch IPS LCD screen with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution, a 5MP camera (no LED flash) and a 1600 mAH battery in the Asus Zenfone 4 A400CG.

The Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG will directly compete with Xiaomi Redmi 1S, yet another Flipkart exclusive. The Redmi 1S had been listed on Flipkart before the pages were pulled down and as per some reports, the registrations to buy the Redmi 1S will be open from 26th August.  The Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch HD IPS LCD display, 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage space, microSD card slot and an 8MP camera with full HD 1080p video recording capability.
