Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pricing for India revealed

According to NDTV, the Apple iPhone 6 and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus would be launched just a week before Diwali, October 17 to be precise. Apple authorised dealers will start booking the pre-orders from next week. The customers who pre-booked the device will be able to buy the products on 16th of October. This information has been reportedly obtained from the emails sent by the Apple authorised dealers to their customers.

The launch price for Apple iPhone 6 (16GB) variant in India is said to be Rs. 53,500, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus will be priced at Rs. 62,500 (16GB storage variant). The 64GB and 128GB variants of iPhone 6 will come with a price tag of Rs. 62,500 and Rs. 71,500 respectively. Likewise, the 64GB and 128GB variants of iPhone 6 Plus will be priced at Rs. 71,500 and Rs. 80,500 respectively.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were launched on September 9 receiving over 4 million pre-orders within 24 hours, and the weekend sales surpassed 10 million. The launch was not a cakewalk for Apple as the it was slammed with the #bendgate controversy, and string of bugs in the iOS 8, which comes pre-installed on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. We had exclusively reported that the iPhone 6 Plus was listed on Airtel's official website, though no pricing or launch details were provided.
