However, scrolling through the device in the initial days, it has been discovered that the scrolls are fine but the animations are at 60 Hz refresh rate.

Notably, this has been found that this is the case only while using third-party apps wherein the animations and other tiny elements do not refresh at 120 Hz. To be precise, scrolling through Instagram will happen at 120 Hz but the animations are a hit as they are stuck at the standard 60 Hz across most third-party apps.
