Four months back, a relatively new telecom network, Reliance Jio, forayed into the Indian telecom sector with an aim to disrupt the telecom market in India. Having said that, the new entrant’s goals have been successful to much extent.

Yes, with the entrance of Reliance Jio, things have changed with major telecom networks such as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone India battling for pride. With its complete free services, Jio is keeping other networks at bay.

India’s largest telecom network, Bharti Airtel introduced Infinity plans just after the official launch of Reliance Jio, whereas Idea Cellular, the country’s third-largest telecom network also presented the same scheme.

Both the networks are competent with each other in their infinity plans and they also share a plan with the similar price of Rs. 1199. Which network offers more goodies? Let’s find out.

1) Both Plans Offer Unlimited Voice Calls

We must admit that Jio is urging its rivals to offer free unlimited voice calls. The primary aim of these unlimited plans is to offer free voice calls for postpaid users. And, both the operator's Rs. 1199 scheme offers unlimited voice calls to any network and anywhere in India.

2) Bharti Airtel Offers 25 Percent More Data

Having said that, Airtel recently updated their plan of Rs. 1199 and now, the same program offers you 6GB of 4G data valid for one month. On the flip side, Idea Cellular offers just 5GB of 4G data. It is worth noticing that Idea’s 4G services are not that great as Airtel.

3) Daily 100 SMS

Both the operator's plans offer regular SMS's of 100. In other words, we can call it as 3000 SMS per month, which will be more than enough.

4) Airtel has Other Multimedia Services as well

Apart from the regular offerings, Bharti Airtel also offers additional digital content with their Wynk Music and Wynk Movies subscription. Yes, users whoever enrolls themselves under Rs. 1199 pack will be provided with one month free Wynk subscription, which is apparently missing in Idea.

Bharti Airtel is the Winner

All said and done; we have a clear winner in this comparison. Airtel comes up top when looking at the services offered by them. Users of Airtel will get additional 25 percent of data and can enjoy a wide range of digital content with Airtel’s Wynk services.
