Airtel launches Platinum 3G in Puri, Odisha

Bharti Airtel, has announced the launch of Airtel Platinum 3G in Puri, Odisha. The operator has powered 1000 towers in the state with Platinum 3G in a record time of 45 days.

Airtel’s Platinum 3G will deliver faster internet speeds, enhanced voice clarity and offer superior network experience for customers. This will also enhance the battery life of the mobile phones, as it will optimize the back-end engagement between network and mobile devices.

In line with our commitment towards making a digital Odisha a reality, we are pleased to share that in just over 45 days, we have scaled up Airtel Platinum 3G to 1,000 towers across Odisha,” said Ravindra Singh Negi – CEO, West Bengal & Odisha, Telecom Circles, Bharti Airtel Limited.

“We have expanded our Platinum 3G network to 38 new towns including Puri, Kendujhar, Jagatsinghapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Baripada, Gopalpur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Jajapur, Kendrapara, Sundargarh, Nayagarh, Barbil, Joda & Jajpur. With this Customers can now enjoy Airtel Platinum 3G network across 65 towns in Odisha and experience our world class ‘Smartphone Network”, added Sameer Anjaria, COO – Odisha Telecom Circle, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel has also launched 4G services in Odisha during July 2014.
