And there are many more offers coming from the shelves of Airtel for postpaid users. Another key aspect where Airtel would be looking to improve is the family plans section. The company has no competition when it comes to the family postpaid scheme. Here's everything you need to know about Airtel's myPlan Family scheme.

What is an Airtel Family Plan?
The ‘Airtel Family Plan' is being provided by Bharti Airtel to only Airtel postpaid subscribers in India. Under this scheme, every Airtel customer can add up to 5 members, including themselves and share the benefits of the chosen plan between themselves.

How to Choose an Airtel Family Plan?
Well, that's easy. One has to download and install the My Airtel from either the Google Play Store or App Store and select the family mobile numbers to create a family plan.

What Are the Plans?
Bharti Airtel, at the moment, is offering seven Airtel Family plans for the customers to choose from. The plans start from Rs. 199 and goes all the way up to Rs. 1599.

The Rs. 199 plan offers 4 free packs, the Rs. 299 plan gives 12 free packs, the Rs. 399 plan provides 16 free packs, the Rs. 599 plan offers 30 free packs, the Rs. 799 plan gives 45 free packs, the Rs. 999 plan offers 60 free packs, and lastly, the Rs. 1599 plan offers 100 free packs.

Now, you may ask us- what is a free pack? Well, a free pack offers different benefits. For example, 1 free pack provides 40 mins of roaming, 6 mins of US/UK/Canada calls; 200 SMS, 85 mins of local and STD Calls, and 150MB 3G/4G data.

So, here's how it works- consider the entry-level Rs. 199 My Family plan- you can choose 4 free packs. You can choose two 85 mins local and STD voice call pack, and a 150MB 3G/4G data pack, and a different one altogether.

The major advantage of choosing the Airtel Family Plan is you can customise the plan according to your need, and share it with up to five people.
