Airtel users in the Delhi & NCR region can now can get more data in 1GB data packs as the company has revised data pricing in the telecom circle. The move came in as the company is facing stiff competition in Delhi after Vodafone launched its 'Double Data’ offer that gives double the data to select users.
As per the latest telecom subscription data from COAI (as of August 2015) clearly shows that maximum new users opted for Vodafone’s network, while Airtel just one-tenth of Vodafone's new additions.
The company has revised the popular data pack by adding 25 percent extra data, but other packs have remain unchanged. Earlier, consumers in the Delhi & NCR region were getting 1GB of 3G data for Rs. 299, but from now on, they will receive 1.25GB of 3G data at the same price.

One can use the data for 4G usage as well as the company is offering unified plans for 4G data services. A new report from GoldMan Sachs revealed that Airtel may cut data rates by upto 25 percent to counter upcoming threat from Reliance Jio.
