Airtel launches 4G services in Kharagpur, using dual spectrum bands of 2300 MHz (TD LTE) and 1800 MHz (FD LTE)

Airtel,  today launched its 4G services in Kharagpur. With this, Kharagpur has become the second city in Bengal to have 4G mobile services. Customers can enjoy Airtel 4G at the price of Airtel 3G and customers will have the option of choosing from a host of attractive tariff packs.

Airtel 4G in Kharagpur has been rolled out using dual spectrum bands of 2300 MHz (TD LTE) and 1800 MHz (FD LTE). The combination of TD LTE and FD LTE ensures higher network capacity, which translates into a superior customer experience. This also makes Kharagpur amongst the few cities in India to have an integrated dual band 4G network.

When Airtel will provide VOLTE services. I mean…4g is not all about data speeds.

Airtel 2300 or 1800 or 850 dont care if and only if data price reduce !!!! 10 GB data for 500?
1 GB data 98? No 28 days 30 days…and main no Festivals has Blocklist days… Was using airtelvfor 12 years stopped using last 3 months Jio rocks

Presently I’m enjoying unlimited internet at my place from Alliance Broadband.

My plan is Rs.400 (with 15% service tax its Rs.460/month) speed 800 Kbps (from 1AM to 9 AM speed is 1.5 Mbps) peering speed 10 Mbps.
