Dear JIO is sharing towers of all operators. In cities they have installed their own towers but in rural areas they use others infrastructure. They lay their own ofc if feasible otherwise they install microwave link. Their is one network card that need to be changed to migrate from 3g to 4g.

My doubt as well. How Jio is providing 4G even in the most rural areas where others don’t even have basic 2G?? Are they using satellite instead of tower?

RJIO 4G may succeed in rural sector with optic fibre networking .Airtel will have to surrender ultimately excess spectrum fraudulently obtained for rural sector. They have , in my absence ,been fraudulently ,using my green land as a passage to their illegal BTS site in my village-Lutsan,Distt-Hathras,UP causing heavy losses to me by reason of the fact that my property stands restricted/obstructed for the purposes in the manner most beneficial to me,my health injuries & five others died of the cancer by their exposure to E.M.Radiation being emitted by the said tower far in excess of permissible norms before 01/09/2012

I am getting maximum of 2Mbps speed. Good speed considering 4G in a rural place.

Because Band 40 got a 20MHz block, and band 3 has 5MHz block. More is better.
