Bharti Airtel the largest operator by subscriber base has extended its 4G network coverage to Gulbarga city in Karnataka circle. Airtel had launched India’s first 4G network in Kolkata in April 2012. On 6th August 2015, Airtel announced that its 4G services were available in 296 towns across India.Prior to that, Airtel had successfully conducted trials of its 4G services in select cities and leveraged feedback from customers towards strengthening its service experience.
Speaking at the launch of Airtel 4G in the city, C. Surendran, CEO – Karnataka, Bharti Airtel Limited said “At Airtel, the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Airtel has also launched its Platinum 3G network in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat circle. Platinum 3G will boost indoor coverage, enhance voice clarity, deliver faster internet speeds and offer a superior network experience for customers. Additionally, Platinum 3G will help optimize the backend engagement between the network and mobile devices, thus allowing customers to enjoy extended battery life on their phones.
