Airtel Expands Home Wi-Fi Service Across All Districts in Kerala, Assam, and North East

Indian telecommunications company Bharti Airtel announced today that it has expanded its Home Wi-Fi service across all 14 districts in Kerala and 123 districts in Assam and the North East. This expansion will cover an additional 5.7 million households in Kerala and 1.6 million households in Assam and the North East, Airtel said on Monday. This follows Airtel’s earlier extension of Wi-Fi services to all districts of the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Leh-Ladakh.

“With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers not only receive high-speed, reliable wireless internet service but also enjoy a range of other benefits, including unlimited streaming access, over 22 OTT services, and more than 350 TV channels,” Airtel said.

Commenting on the expansion of Airtel Wi-Fi services, Bharti Airtel, in two separate statements, said, “Airtel Wi-Fi now reaches every corner of Kerala, Assam, and the North East. With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers unlock a wide range of entertainment options, including over 20 OTT platforms, 350+ TV channels, and a reliable high-speed wireless internet service, all at affordable tariffs starting at Rs 599 and Rs 699 per month, respectively.”

Plans Tailored for Kerala

For users in Kerala, the Rs 599 entry-level Airtel Wi-Fi plan offers speeds of up to 30 Mbps and includes entertainment benefits like over 350 TV channels (including HD), Disney+ Hotstar, and more than 22 OTT services. Other Airtel Wi-Fi plans include Rs 899 (up to 100 Mbps), Rs 1,099 (up to 200 Mbps), Rs 1,599 (up to 300 Mbps), and Rs 3,999 (up to 1 Gbps).
