Telia Says 7 Out of 10 Swedes Have Access to Its 5G Network

Swedish telecommunications company Telia has announced that its 5G network now covers 73 percent of the country’s population. With this network expansion, seven out of ten Swedes have access to Telia’s 5G Network. According to Telia, this milestone marks a major achievement in its ambitious plan to achieve nationwide coverage.

Telia’s 5G Network Reaches 73 Percent of Swedes

Telia said it has rapidly modernized its 4G network and constructed 5G infrastructure throughout the country since its launch in 2020. With the latest expansion, Telia’s 5G network has reached 73 percent of the population, surpassing initial targets.

The company aims to cover over 90 percent of the country’s territory and serve 99 percent of the population by 2025.

Telia expressed excitement about the growing number of customers benefiting from the 5G technology. With Telia’s 5G coverage, approximately 7.7 million Swedes can now access the latest technology.
