Micromax unveils Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ with massive 4,000 mAh battery, starting at Rs. 8,999

Micromax has announced two more devices under its Juice series of smartphones. The two phones are - the Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+, both of the devices come with 4,000 mAh of massive battery with around 14 hours of talk time.

The Micromax Canvas Juice 3 comes with a 5-inch HD LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6580 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It sports an 8-megapixel of a primary camera with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

There is 8GB of internal storage onboard, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The phone also features 96 dB speakers with Cirrus Logic Wolfson stereo DAC that can deliver a good sound output. The Canvas Juice 3 has been priced at Rs. 8,999 and is available at online and offline stores across India. Interestingly, the phone went on sale last week.

Micromax Canvas Juice 3+On the other hand, the Canvas Juice 3+ is a bigger screen version of Canvas Juice 3. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6580 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. It sports an 8-megapixel of a primary camera with LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

There is 16GB of internal storage onboard, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The Micromax has not yet revealed the pricing for Canvas Juice 3+, but it is expected to go on sale by the end of September.

With the launch of these two smartphones, Micromax seems to be locking horns with Gionee, which has unveiled similar smartphones under its Marathon series of smartphones. Gionee's Marathon series is known for devices with massive, long-lasting batteries.
