Motorola is all set to close down its Music store operation in India from July 15th the store will not be available for purchase or redemption according to company sources moto is on its way launching Android based Smart phone for Indian consumers in coming days which will allow access to wide range of application.
However the Motomusic service in China would not be impacted compnay sources quoted ,last year the handset maker had launched its portal Motomusic store in India offering more than 3,50,000 tracks and other multimedia contents like wallpapers and videos for download.When rivals like Nokia and Sony Ericsson are gearing up for its own version of application store Analysts believe value added services like music content and gaming are going to be the major driving forces in boosting revenue and growth of telecom sector in India.
