Lava sub-brand Xolo has made its entry once again in the smartphone market after an entire year of break. The brand has teased the launch of its latest smartphone, the Xolo Era 4X on Amazon.in along with some of the smartphone’s prime specifications. As per the listing on the online marketplace, the phone is slated to be launched on January 9, and that’s when it goes on sale. Xolo has also announced the pricing of the phone and has put up the information that buyers of the Era 4X will even get 30-days money back offer. As for the key specifications of the device, the Xolo Era 4X will sport an HD+ display with a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The phone will come with an 8MP camera along with a 3,000mAh battery. Also, the device does not come with a fingerprint sensor.
Xolo Era 4X: Specifications and Features
The new Xolo Era 4X supports Dual 4G VoLTE and dual-SIM (Nano). The device features a 5.45-inch HD+ display on an 18:9 aspect ratio screen and also features a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. As for the hardware, Xolo is yet to reveal the processor and RAM of the device.
On the camera and imaging front, Xolo Era 4X sports an 8MP rear shooter paired with an LED flash. The front snapper on the device is a 5MP sensor which also comes with a selfie flash. The front camera also works to support the face Unlock on this device. On the software front, the device boots Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. As for the battery, the device packs a 3000mAh cell and does not offer fast charging support.
Previously, Xolo has also launched more Era smartphones which include the Era 3X, Era 2V, and Era 3, in October 2017. During the initial launch, the Era phones came with screen replacement guarantee and packed the quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC.
Xolo Era 4X: Pricing in India
The Xolo Era 4X has been priced for Rs 4,444 in India. Also, as per the Amazon listing, the phone will go live for sale in India on January 9th. It is worth noting that previously when Xolo had launched the devices in India they came with a budget-oriented price tag and were much focused on selfie enthusiasts. Also, Xolo had opted for Flipkart as its exclusive seller during the launch of its phones, but this time around the brand is switching sides and has partnered up with Amazon for selling the new Era 4X.
