After launching the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi is preparing to announce the Redmi 7 soon. The Chinese internet company is yet to officially announce the launch timeline of the Redmi 7, but considering the rumours flooding the internet, it looks like the phone may go official very soon. The Redmi 7 has appeared on TENAA benchmarking site now. This hints at the imminent launch of the Redmi phone. The TENAA listing reveals the key specs and a picture of the Redmi 7. It looks like Xiaomi is preparing to also bring the Redmi 7 in funky colours like the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. The TENAA listing shows the Redmi 7 in pink colour. Rumours suggest the Redmi 7 will come in eight different colours including -- black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and gray.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 Design Detailed

The Redmi 7 appears with a plastic body unlike the Redmi Note 7 series, this is fair considering the Redmi 7 will be an entry-level phone and should cost similar to the predecessor Redmi 6 which launched in India last year. The picture shows the Redmi 7 with dual rear camera setup paired with LED flash. The rear panel is also seen sporting a circular fingerprint sensor which will help in unlocking the smartphone.

Similar to the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones, the Redmi 7 also appears with the “Redmi by Xiaomi” logo on the lower back. It looks like on the front the Redmi 7 will include waterdrop notch or dot drop notch with a single selfie camera on it. On the right side, there are the volume rockers and the lock screen button. Interestingly the picture shows the Redmi 7 with gradient finish or aura design which Xiaomi calls the finish.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 Full Specs Leaked Online

In addition to the picture, the full specs sheet of the Redmi 7 has also leaked by the TENAA listing. The listing shows the Redmi 7 with a 6.26-inch LCD display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution and aspect ratio of 19:9. On the hardware front, the Redmi 7 will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. The listing suggests that the Redmi 7 will come in three variants -- 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage, 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage. The exact processor information is not known at the moment, but it could be the Snapdragon 439 SoC that was launched last year with Dual 4G support.

On the camera front, the Redmi 7 is said to include two sensors on the back where one will be a 12MP sensor. For selfies, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 is expected to include an 8MP camera. The listing suggests that the Redmi 7 will run on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10 and will be backed by a 3900 mAh battery.
