Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi 4 at an event on November 4. The company has already revealed the teaser image. Going by the teaser image, the earpiece of the upcoming device is hardly visible. One can easily see the 2.5D curved glass on top of the display. Also, the metal covering on the sides can easily be seen.
As per the rumored specifications of the Redmi 4, the device is tipped to come with a 5-inch full HD 1080p display and will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clubbed with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The device is expected to come with 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB microSD card) and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.
Furthermore, the Redmi 4 might come backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear. There will be a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. For connectivity options, it will support 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and FM Radio. The device might weigh at 160 grams and measure 141.3 × 69.6 × 8.9 mm.
Regarding availability, the Redmi 4 is expected to be up for sale in Gray, Silver, and Gold color options. In terms of pricing, the smartphone might retail at CNY 1,300 (approximately Rs. 12,900). Xiaomi is also expected to unveil another affordable smartphone - the Redmi 4A at the same event.
