Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil a slew of new devices in China at an event later today. It is expected to take the wraps off the flagship smartphone Mi MIX 4, Mi Pad 5 tablet, the next-generation OLED Smart TV, a stylus and a high-end smart speaker among others. While we already knew about these devices, there is another one that could be among them - the Xiaomi Mi 11T.
While we are just hours ahead of the launch event, the Xiaomi Mi 11T has been certified in Indonesia. The certification listing has shed light on quite a few elements of this smartphone in question and we will get to know the complete details at the time of its announcement. It looks like the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone could be launched in the near future.
Xiaomi Mi 11T Rumors
This smartphone has been certified with model number 21081111RG. As per the certification listing, the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone could get power from a MediaTek Diemensity processor. While the exact chipset is not known, it is believed to be a flagship-grade smartphone, thereby making us believe that it will use a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
Notably, if this turns out to be true, then the Xiaomi Mi 11T will be the first smartphone from the company to use a MediaTek chipset. The devices launched by the company to date are believed to get the power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Xiaomi Mi 11T: What To Expect?
Similar to its prequel, the Xiaomi Mi 11T is expected to be launched in two variants - Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro. Recently, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station also hinted that the Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro might arrive with an OLED display with a 120Hz display rather than a 144Hz LCD display seen in the Mi 10T series.
As of now, nothing much is known about the Xiaomi Mi 11T series smartphones. We can expect to get more clarity as these devices could be launched in the coming weeks. Furthermore, it is also speculated that the company is prepping to launch a new smartphone in India - the Mi 11 Line NE.
