Vodafone’s “Dial a Post Paid” service enables people in Tamil Nadu to avail new postpaid connection through missed call

Vodafone India has simplified the process of buying its postpaid connection through a new service – “Dial a Post Paid”.  Exclusively launched for the new Vodafone SuperNet postpaid connections in Tamil Nadu circle, the service enables people to send a missed call to +91-98431-98432 to avail a SIM card. In response to the missed call, a Vodafone executive will call back and fix an appointment with the customer to collect the necessary documents and to deliver a new SIM at the customer’s doorstep.

Commenting on the new initiative, S. Murali, Business Head - Tamil Nadu, Vodafone India, said, “We are proud to present Vodafone SuperNet, our best network ever, to keep our valued customers in Tamil Nadu, always connected.  As a gesture of welcoming new post-paid customers to the Vodafone family, we are offering the ‘Dial a Post Paid plan’ whereby new post-paid Sim cards will be delivered to the doorstep of customers. This is just one more demonstration of Vodafone’s commitment to delight our customers through service, network, and value.”

Vodafone’s ‘Dial a Post Paid plan’ eliminates the extensive documentation process and the trouble of visiting stores to get a connection. Vodafone has been focusing on its postpaid customers for some time. Last month, it launched Vodafone RED plan targeting the people who are traveling frequently and have high usage for voice calls and data. With the launch of Reliance Jio, more tariff plans and benefits are expected to launch soon as a means to sustain its existing customer base from porting to Jio.
