Vodafone launches 4G in West Bengal on 1800 Mhz offers 20 GB at Rs 955

Vodafone India, has launched 4G service in West Bengal in the prominent business and residential town of Siliguri. 4G services will be rolled out across West Bengal over the next few months. The launch in West Bengal follows the successful launch of Vodafone 4G services in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana UP East and Gujarat.

Built on the efficient 1800 MHz band, this state-of-the-art network will enable Vodafone SuperNet 4G customers to access internet via mobile with speeds across a range of smart devices including Mi-Fi & dongles. Vodafone 4G services can be readily accessed from 4G enabled handsets, offered by leading smartphone manufacturers and available across the country.

Yes they are planning to launch their own 3G very soon in Odisha.

Yes.. I was waiting for their launch from long time. 🙂

I heard that they will use this liberalized spectrum to provide 3G service in urban area like big cities and town & same spectrum they will use as a 2G in rural area to expand their coverage.

Right now the only operator which matters in terms of 4G is Jio and Airtel. Though as each day pass by I am really getting worried about Jio prospects in the short term. Jio network has some hiccups now and the and Web pages just don’t open. Switch off the sim and switch it on and it starts working again. (Multiple mobiles and Jio sims) Customer care is non available. It is right now the worst in the industry. Still no physical stores and hence no fault e to face cc support.
