Vodafone to offer 1GB free 4G data on Pre Booked 4G SIM

As Vodafone India gets set to bring one of the World’s largest 4G network to Haryana, aspiring Vodafone 4G customers in the circle are being welcomed with free data and roaming benefits. While a formal announcement on the commercial launch of 4G services will be made shortly, customers pre booking their Vodafone 4G SIM between 01 August to 23 August 2016 will get free 1GB 4G data valid for 10 days from activation. Vodafone customers can avail this benefit simply by sending the SMS Go 4G to 199.


To enjoy this offer, Vodafone customers in Haryana, should possess a 4G-enabled handset and active Vodafone 3G Pack/Plan as on 24 August. Additionally, Vodafone 4G customers from Haryana will be able to experience 4G connectivity while roaming across all existing Vodafone 4G circles in India- Mumbai, Delhi & NCR, Kerala, Karnataka and Kolkata. Vodafone is also in the process of taking one of the world’s largest 4G network to Haryana, UP East, Gujarat and Rest of Bengal circles.

Commenting on this, Mohit Narru, Business Head – Haryana, Vodafone India, mentioned, “Vodafone, one of the world’s largest 4G network, is now all set to bring the international 4G experience to our 5.4 million customers in Haryana. While we announce our formal 4G launch soon, we want our customers to be future ready. We are offering 1GB Free 4G data as a way of thanking our valued customers who upgrade their sim now. Also Vodafone 4G customers in Haryana can now experience 4G connectivity while roaming across all Vodafone 4G circles in India.”

In order to keep customers ready for the 4G experience as well as to have a seamless up gradation, Vodafone has already made 4G ready SIMs available at 250 Branded Stores and over 5,000 multi brand outlets across Haryana.

Vodafone still has no 4G in the signal showing setting,. it is indeed a great news…let’s c what speed it gives to end users.


To check 4G signals of any network the SIM card must be 4G enabled. Otherwise you can’t even get 4G network of any operator in search.

Dear abhay as i said i do not see Vodafone 4G signal, i have definitely upgraded to their 4G sim in june 2016 as i have CUG plan, i was offered the free upgrade and there is one thing i want to tell is they will be offering 2GB instead of 1GB in E connect 3G 375 plan. The strong range that comes all over in Karnal are reliance and JIO both and Airtel as well as IDEA, i guess IDEA has less range because it gives less signal.


@Abhay, i am using InFocus M350, and without any 4G sim, when i search network, i can see Jio4G and Reliance4G. What you said, is partially true, but i think some other mobiles should detect 4G signals without 4g sim in network search like M350.
