Vodafone announces discounted data benefit of 1GB 3G data at Rs. 53

Vodafone India has introduced a new data pack for its prepaid users in Tamil Nadu circle. The pack enables the subscribers to enjoy 1GB of 3G data at Rs. 53.

“The consumer can recharge for a one-time rental of Rs. 1501 and get 15 GB data upfront and enjoy the significantly discounted data benefit of Rs 53/- for 1GB up to a year,” Vodafone said in a statement released.




Commenting on the new data pack launch, S. Murali, Business Head-Tamil Nadu, Vodafone India said, “We invite all mobile users in Tamil Nadu to stay confidently connected on Vodafone SuperNet powered with superior voice and internet experience. Vodafone SuperNet services facilitate an enhanced mobile internet experience for our valued customers with faster download/upload of videos and music and greater ease in using their favorite apps. Now, enjoy customers can Enjoy 1GB Data at Rs. 53 by paying a one-time rental, with these pack customers are offered additional data on pre-paid data recharges of 2GB and above.., blending quality with affordability.”

Meanwhile, in another development, Vodafone India has come up with a new facility for Vodafone M-Pesa customers. They can withdraw cash from the 1,20, 000 Vodafone M-Pesa outlets across the country.

In response to the new arrangement, Suresh Sethi, Business Head, Vodafone M-Pesa, said, “Vodafone M-Pesa customers do not need to stand in long queues outside ATMs and bank branches for cash. Our customers can visit any of the M-Pesa outlets and use the cash out feature to withdraw cash from their digital wallet at their convenience.
