Google is yet to officially unveil Android One smartphones in an event next week but looks like Spice couldn't wait until then. The Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 is the first Android One smartphone and it is already on sale on Flipkart at a price of Rs 6,999. It features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with WVGA resolution, a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB ROM, 5MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera. This dual-SIM smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat.

Thanks to AndroidOS.in who spotted this listing, we now know what to expect from Android One smartphones. As speculated earlier, this smartphone is powered by a MediaTek processor and is sporting stock Android UI. Other Android One smartphones from Micromax and Karbonn might have similar set of hardware specifications. Also, Google might have made it mandatory to include the 'Android One' term on the device and in the name of the device, making its name quite a mouthful.
