Just hours ago, Spice jumped the gun by listing their first Android One smartphone, the Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 on Flipkart even before Google announced it officially. Now, Amazon India has hinted on social networks that Micromax will launch their first Android One smartphone exclusively through Amazon. According to the image, Micromax's Android One smartphone will be available on Amazon India's website starting 3:30 PM (Indian Standard Time) on 15th September.

Google had announced earlier that Android One devices would have standardised hardware in order to push out software updates easily. This Micromax device might feature a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6572 processor, ARM Mali-400MP GPU and 1GB of RAM, just like the Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498. Screen size, camera sensor, internal storage and the battery capacity might be different in each Android One smartphone.
