Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

A Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) smartphone is reportedly being planned to be launched by Samsung. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is scheduled to be held in January of next year and it is being speculated that the device will be unveiled at the event. According to the reports, the phone will not be launched in South Korea and will be launched in the European markets in mid-January. The Asian markets are also probably going to witness the device as the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was spotted at the NBTC certification site of Thailand.




Galaxy S21 Fan Edition Spotted, Here’s What We Know

The smartphone was also spotted at Geekbench benchmarking site. A Samsung phone with model number SM-G990E was also listed in the Geekbench listing and a screenshot of the same was leaked online. As per the rumoured reports, this model number belongs to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition smartphone.

Exynos 2100 chipset is probably the processor that the device will run on according to the Geekbench listing. Other information that was revealed in the listing was the CPU for the device. The handset has one prime CPU core running at 2.91 GHz, three other CPU cores running at 2.81 GHz, and four additional CPU cores operating at 2.21 GHz. The device is expected to operate on Android 11 according to the listing and the SoC will be supported by 8GB RAM.

The previous S21 series smartphones operated on Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 and it is expected that Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition will also run on either of the same which totally depends on the chip market. It is also speculated that the device may feature 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The display of the awaited handset by Samsung is expected to be a 6.41-inch AMOLED offering an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The battery backup is expected to be 4500mAh powered by a 25W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The camera of the device is expected to have a 32MP front camera with three rear cameras including a 12MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide shooter, and 8MP telephoto camera.
