Chinese smartphone brand Oppo and telecom operator Reliance Jio joined hands and introduced 'Jio Oppo Monsoon' offer. Under the offer, Oppo 4G smartphone users can avail up to 3.2TB of free 4G data from Jio along with additional benefits of up to Rs 4,900. Firstly, this offer is applicable to both old/new Jio SIM card users, but the Oppo smartphone should be a new one. After purchasing a new Oppo 4G handset, users have to insert their new/old Jio SIM card and make a recharge of either Rs 198 or Rs 299. For the unaware, the Rs 198 recharge plan from Jio gives 2GB data per day, and the Rs 299 plan gives 3GB data per day for 28 days.

Coming to the additional benefits offered under this new Jio Oppo Monsoon offer, customers performing their first recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 will receive instant cashback of Rs 1,800 in the form of 36 vouchers worth Rs 50. These vouchers will be credited to MyJio app and can be used in the future recharges of Rs 198 or Rs 299. Also, do make a note that only one cashback voucher of Rs 50 can be redeemed per eligible recharge. All the unredeemed cashback vouchers will expire after September 30, 2021.

Next up, Jio is offering up to Rs 1,800 JioMoney credit under the same offer. The Rs 1,800 credit value will be offered in three equal tranches of Rs 600. However, the amount will be credited to the JioMoney wallet post 13th, 26th and 39th recharge only. If a customer fails to make recharges in between, the JioMoney credit will not be offered, and the offer will be terminated.

However, there are some catches here. For the users opting the Rs 198 recharge, the overall JioMoney credit value is Rs 600 (divided to Rs 200), and with the Rs 299 recharge value, Jio is giving an overall benefit of Rs 1,800 (Rs 600 divided into three tranches). Also, if a user performs the combination of Rs 198 and Rs 299 recharges, then the JioMoney credit will be offered as per the Rs 198 plan, meaning Rs 600 overall credit at the end of 36 months. Notably, JioMoney application should be installed on your Oppo smartphone, and you should be logged in through the same mobile number to get the credit at the 13th, 26th and 39th recharge.

Lastly, Jio is also offering two MakeMyTrip e-coupon codes for the users performing the first recharge. Each coupon will be of worth Rs 750 and can be redeemed against flights & hotels on the platform.

The Jio Oppo Monsoon offer is valid from June 28, 2018, to September 30, 2018. This offer is valid on all the Oppo 4G smartphones released in India, except the Oppo Realme 1.
