OnePlus launches its exclusive e-commerce portal in India

To make the most from the sale of its devices, OnePlus has now launched its e-commerce website in India. We checked it out, and it turns out that when you click on the "Buy Now" option, the site redirects you to the product page of Amazon.in. In this way, OnePlus's online store is more of an affiliate store.

To promote its online store, OnePlus will also bring the latest range of select merchandise onboard. The range of exclusive products would be up for a limited period for registered users. This move brings OnePlus in the league of LeEco and other manufacturers who have their online stores.

Commenting on the launch, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager - India, OnePlus said, “We are very excited to bring the globally acclaimed OnePlus shopping experience to our fans in India. With the new platform, our users will find it easier to purchase genuine OnePlus products and fan merchandise, right from the comfort of their homes. The e-commerce platform marks yet another major milestone in our India journey and reiterates our long term commitment towards the Indian market and our fan community here."

Alongside the online store, OnePlus is also going to open its first offline store in Bengaluru by the end of this year. In June, the company had set up 'experience zones' in various cities for fans and possible buyers to get a hands-on trial for OnePlus products. In another news, OnePlus is reportedly working on an enhanced variant of the OnePlus 3 powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset.
