The OnePlus 5T will be up for a preview sale in India later today at 4:30 PM on Amazon India and Oneplustore.in. Also, interested customers can purchase the newly announced smartphone at OnePlus experience zones in Bangalore and Delhi NCR. The Amazon India sale will be only for Amazon Prime members.
OnePlus also stated that the OnePlus 5T (first impressions) had garnered huge interest in Amazon India with a whopping 2 million consumers showing interest in the smartphone. The device has seen double the interest of OnePlus 5.
Alongside that, OnePlus has introduced a Referral Leaderboard in India for the first time which will be valid from November 21 to November 30. The Referral Leaderboard program allows referred OnePlus fans to avail Rs 1,000 off on accessories, with the purchase of the OnePlus smartphone from Oneplusstore.in.
"For every successful referral, users can win up to 200 points which can be redeemed against any product on the platform. All referrers will be competing against each other on a real-time leaderboard which will be displaying the top 100 referrers. The top 100 referrers will have a place on the board on 30 November and will be winning a free OnePlus Travel Backpack," said OnePlus in a press statement.
Also, there are a few more launch offers as well. With the use of HDFC Debit or Credit card, customers can avail a cashback of Rs 1,500. This offer will be valid until December 2, 2017.
Another luring offer is that Idea users buying the OnePlus 5T will get additional 1008GB 4G mobile data. Customers can enjoy 2GB data with the recharge of the Rs 357 plan for the next 18 months. The Rs 357 tariff plan usually offers 1.5GB data per month for 28 days.
Also, the OnePlus 5T users will get free one-year membership of Zomato Gold. For the unaware, Zomato recently introduced a new program called Zomato Gold, which is a premium subscription offering from the company.
All the OnePlus 5T users will also be eligible for a complimentary OnePlus Care protection plan, which is the company's 12-month accidental damage insurance by Servify on downloading the Kotak 811 app and activating it with an initial deposit of Rs 1,000 during the introductory period.
Lastly, Amazon India is offering Rs 500 e-book promotion credits in Kindle Store. Also, they will receive Rs 300 Amazon Pay Balance cashback for new Amazon Prime customers and additional Rs 250 Amazon Pay Balance when you stream on your Prime Video app.
The OnePlus 5T will be available in two variants- the 64GB one and the 128GB variant. The former costs Rs. 32,999, while the latter costs Rs. 37,999, same as the OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 5T sports a 6-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, clubbed with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat based OxygenOS 4.7.
A dual camera setup of one 16MP sensor and one 20MP sensor is present at the back of the phone, and a 16MP sensor is present on the front of the phone. A 3300mAh battery backs this entire package.
