Nuu Mobile Enters Indian Market With Nuu X5, M3, Q626 and Q500 Smartphones Aimed at Mid-Range Segment

Nuu Mobile, the US-based company officially marked its entry to the Indian market earlier today. The company has announced four smartphones namely Nuu X5, M3, Q626 and Q500, and priced them between Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 15,999. While the Nuu X5 is the premium device of all the four, the Nuu Q500 is the cheapest smartphone at Rs. 9,999.

Nuu Mobile is looking for a decent market share by the end of the year. Michael Sit, Chairman of Nuu Mobile said at the launch event as "Globally, Nuu Mobile has gained very high trust of its customers through its groundbreaking innovation and high-quality services. We believe in protecting our customers' interests with extended warranties, timely updates and we are committed to deliver this."




Let's take a look at the specifications of all the four devices:

Nuu X5

The Nuu X5 is a premium smartphone of all the four from the company. Priced at Rs. 15,999, the device battles with the likes of Nubia N2, Lenovo P2, Motorola Moto G5 Plus, and Nubia Z17 mini. The smartphone has a zinc-aluminium alloy casing and flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The fingerprint scanner rests at the back side of the phone.

Internally, the device is powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT6750T chipset, clubbed with 3GB of RAM. The device comes with 32GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card for storage expansion up to 128GB. Cameras in the Nuu X5 include a 13MP unit at the back and a 5MP wide-angle camera at the front. This dual SIM smartphone is powered by Android Nougat and has a mere 2950mAh battery.

The Nuu Q626 is all about its design. The smartphone flaunts glass body and comes in Sapphire Blue & Jet Black colour options. The smartphone is fuelled by a MediaTek chipset, clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone has a 5.5-inch HD display and has a fingerprint sensor at the back.

This smartphone has an 8MP rear camera, along with a 5MP front-facing camera. Like the Nuu X5, the Nuu Q626 also comes laden with Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset is priced at Rs. 12,999.

Nuu M3

The Nuu M3 sports similar specifications as the Nuu Q626 and is priced relatively similar at Rs. 12,499. It has a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset. The SoC is accompanied by a 2GB RAM module. The device has an inbuilt storage of 16GB, which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

Like the Nuu Q626, the Nuu M3 also features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash support. Up front, there's a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. This device is backed by a 3200mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

Nuu Q500

The Nuu Q500 is the cheapest smartphone of all the four. This device is priced at Rs. 9,999, and sports a 5-inch HD display. The smartphone has a thickness of 6.9mm, which sets it apart from the competition. This device is also powered by a MediaTek chipset, working in tandem with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Q500 comes with same 8MP and 5MP camera configuration as the Nuu M3 and Nuu Q626 smartphones.

All the Nuu smartphones have support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB. These devices are likely to be made available in the offline market going by the pricing.
