As it was announced during the launch, HMD Global has now made the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco available for the Indian consumers. The Nokia 7 Plus can be picked up from Amazon India while Flipkart exclusively sells the flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco. Also, HMD Global will be selling both the phones through its Nokia Shop and offline stores across the country. The mid-range Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Rs 25,999, whereas the Nokia 8 Sirocco will set back the user by Rs 49,999. Talking about the launch offers, with the 7 Plus, telecom operator Airtel is offering Rs 2,000 cashback after 36 months; users can also avail 10% cashback on ICICI credit & debit cards; free Airtel TV subscription until December 31, 2018. On the other hand, with the 8 Sirocco, Airtel is offering 120GB of additional data & free Airtel TV subscription until December 31, 2018. Alongside that, ICICI credit and debit card users will receive additional 10% cashback post the purchase.
The Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco were announced earlier this month at an event on April 4 alongside the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 1. The Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 1 are already available for the consumers, whereas HMD started pre-orders for the 7 Plus and 8 Sirocco from April 20.
The Nokia 7 Plus is one of the most anticipated mid-range smartphones of 2018, and it's worth saying that the phone is the best one in its price range. The 7 Plus packs stellar hardware for its asking price of Rs 25,999. It has a gorgeous design, solid build quality, excellent 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, powerful Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB of RAM, dual rear cameras of a 12MP primary sensor and 13MP secondary sensor, capable 16MP selfie shooter, 3800mAh battery and of course it's topped by Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco also comes with a gorgeous design and slim bezels on the front, even though the company used a 16:9 display. The Sirocco sports a 5.5-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It also runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, but the letdown for the device is the Snapdragon 835 SoC. With Snapdragon 845 SoC powered OnePlus 6 going to launch on May 17 in India, it will be interesting to see how the Nokia 8 Sirocco performs.
The 8 Sirocco also comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with no support for storage expansion. Also, it's a single-SIM smartphone, which could be a letdown for many users. The phone offers a primary 12MP camera at the back paired with a secondary 13MP sensor. There's a 5MP shooter on the front as well. This phone has a 3260mAh battery and measures 7.5mm in thickness.
