Nokia 9 PureView Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB of RAM

HMD Global is all set to begin its 2019 journey. The company is all set to launch its first smartphone of the year at the Mobile World Congress 2019 event on Feb 24. HMD is expected to finally launch its five camera smartphone aka Nokia 9 PureView at the MWC event on the slated date. With just a few days to go for the launch of the phone, the Nokia 9 PureView has made to Geekbench benchmarking site which reveals almost all the key specs about the Nokia device. As expected, the Nokia 9 PureView will not come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and it will make use of the year-old Snapdragon 845 chipset which we saw on various smartphones such as the OnePlus 6, 6T, Pixel 3 XL and so on.




Nokia 9 PureView: Key Specs Leaked Through Benchmark Listing

The Geekbench benchmarking site reveals that the Nokia 9 PureView will come with Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm. A lot has been talked about the processor powering the Nokia 9 PureView. Some rumours revealed that the Nokia phone would be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset aka Snapdragon 855 while others suggested Snapdragon 845 may be in the pipeline. Geekbench listing also reveals Snapdragon 845 powered Nokia 9.

The Geekbench listing further reveals that the Nokia 9 PureView will launch with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The benchmark listing also reveals that HMD will bring a 4GB RAM model paired with 64GB storage of the Nokia 9 PureView which will supposedly have a cheaper price tag.

The Geekbench listing also mentions the performance score of the Nokia 9 PureView in the single and multi-core. In single core, the Nokia 9 PureView manages to score 2269 points while in multi-core, the phone manages to score 8793 points. By the looks of it, the Nokia 9 appears to be extremely powerful. The listing further reveals that Nokia 9 PureView will launch with Android 9 Pie software. Similar to most of the other Nokia Android phones, the Nokia 9 PureView will also run Android One software with a stock version of Android 9 Pie.

Nokia 9 PureView Will Offer Five Rear Cameras

Besides all the features, the biggest highlight of the Nokia 9 PureView is expected to be its Penta-camera system on the rear panel which according to leaked renders will be positioned in a way so that they form a circle on the back panel. According to reports, the Nokia 9 PureView will come with two 12MP cameras, two 16MP cameras and one 8MP camera. Other reports suggest that all the five cameras of the Nokia 9 will offer the same resolution.

Rumours also suggest that Nokia 9 PureView will come packed with a 6-inch 2K PureDisplay paired with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The good bit is the Nokia 9 PureView unlike most phones launching these days will not have a notch. The Nokia 9 PureView will also be the first Nokia phone to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
