Fastway Transmissions-owned Netplus Broadband today announced the launch of its Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) broadband services in Delhi & Himachal Pradesh. With this rollout, Netplus now has its operations spread across Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. With this expansion, Netplus now has its broadband services in 100 cities in North India. In Delhi & HP states alone, the Internet Service Provider has its operations spread across ten cities. Netplus even rolled out unlimited broadband plans starting at just Rs 699 in Delhi and HP. Netplus Broadband is offering 100 Mbps broadband plan without any FUP limit at just Rs 999 per month. This is on par with what Excitel Broadband has been offering in Delhi for a while now.
Speaking on occasion, Netplus Broadband CEO Mr Prem Ojha said "With the launch of 4 States Netplus Broadband is poised to become the largest wired operator of North India. Netplus broadband has unveiled Unlimited broadband plans in Delhi & HP with broadband speeds ranging up to 500 Mbps."
Netplus Unlimited Broadband Plans in Delhi
As mentioned, Netplus has launched Unlimited Broadband plans starting at Rs 699 and going up to Rs 999. These plans are truly unlimited without any FUP. The Rs 499 broadband plan in Delhi offers speeds up to 50 Mbps followed by the Rs 849 plan which gives 75 Mbps download & upload speeds. Lastly, the Rs 999 broadband plan offers unlimited data without any FUP at 100 Mbps.
Netplus Broadband Plans in Himachal Pradesh
In Himachal Pradesh, Netplus Broadband is offering plans starting with 50 Mbps speed to 500 Mbps speed. Post the FUP, speeds will be capped to 50 Mbps, which will be enough to stream YouTube videos at 720p resolution.
Below the 500 Mbps plan, there’s another plan of 200 Mbps which is priced at Rs 1,599 offering 500GB FUP and 50 Mbps after FUP speed. There's also a 100 Mbps broadband plan priced at Rs 1,099 which comes with a monthly FUP of 500GB and 20 Mbps post FUP speed.
On top of the unlimited broadband plans mentioned above, Netplus Broadband has a couple of other unlimited plans too. The plans in question are Net+ New Speed 20 and Net+ New Speed 50. These plans are priced at Rs 899 and Rs 1,299 respectively, offering 20 Mbps and 50 Mbps speeds. Having said that, these plans are valid only in Punjab and Haryana. In some circles, Netplus is even offering 1 Gbps broadband plan.
Netplus Broadband Offering Free Service on Yearly Rentals
Like other broadband players such as ACT Fibernet, YOU Broadband, Netplus Broadband also started offering free service on six months and yearly rentals. Customers will get one month of free service if they choose the plan up front for five months. Netplus will also be giving two months of free broadband service to users who choose a plan for ten months.
