MTNL Delhi has now launched some new FTTH plans for broadband users in the circle. These plans will offer browsing and downloading speeds of upto 50 Mbps .
Under the new FTTH (Fibre To The Home) Broadband, MTNL has launched five plans – Rs. 799, Rs. 999, Rs. 1500, Rs. 2500, Rs. 3500 – to counter other broadband players in the region. A recent subscription data from the sector regulatory, TRAI, showed that MTNL is constantly losing out broadband subscribers in the region.
However, these plans are FUP based and don't offer unlimited data. If a user reaches the FUP data limits, he would get slow speeds (upto 2 Mbps) for browsing & downloading content.
