MTNL Mumbai giving away free broadband connection with 6 GB of data to landline applicants

The PSU telecom operator MTNL has now started offering free broadband connections to new landline customers in Mumbai. The operator has announced that it is a festive offer for its new landline customers in Mumbai. Under this offer, the customers who have applied for a new landline connection in Mumbai before August 31 can avail broadband services for absolutely free for the period of one month.

The state-run operator has also waived off the one-time installation and testing charges of Rs. 200 as well as the upfront charges of Rs. 100 for the modem. Eligible customers would also get 6GB of data for free at 2Mbps speed. After the FUP , the speed would drastically reduce to 512Kbps for the rest of the month. To avail the offer, new landline customers need to contact MTNL care on 1800221500/1500. Customers can also send SMS “Free BB” to 9869889988 from the registered number to avail the offer.

MTNL Mumbai is targeting new broadband users as it is facing stiff competitions from other broadband providers. With this free offer, the operator planning to get more new users on its network.
