Micromax is rumored to launch a slew of smartphones by the end of this month, and the first one on the list is the Micromax Spark Vdeo. The homegrown brand has silently launched the phone in India at Rs. 4499 and comes with entry-level specifications.
The Micromax Spark Vdeo flaunts a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels. An unspecified quad-core chipset powers the phone with the clock speed of 1.1GHz. The phone also has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
In terms of camera, the Spark Vdeo comes with a 5MP rear-facing snapper, along with a 2MP front-facing snapper. The rear camera lacks autofocus but has support for LED flash. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is backed with an 1800mAh battery that is rated to deliver 150 hours standby time.

The Spark Vdeo comes with various connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port. The phone also comes with support for VoLTE, which means that you can use a Reliance Jio 4G SIM card with the phone. Micromax has partnered with Indian e-commerce site Snapdeal for selling the Spark Vdeo. The phone will be available to purchase from March 24.
