Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 with 4G LTE support, 5-inch display launched at Rs. 7499

Micromax has unveiled another budget smartphone, Canvas Amaze 2 in India. Priced at Rs. 7,499, Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720 x 1280p with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card.

Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and features a dual-SIM support. In terms of camera, the smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 will be available online exclusively via Flipkart. “The launch further reiterates our successful partnership with Flipkart to bring the best in class smartphones with industry leading specification to price ratio for our consumers," said Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics.

"With the launch of new Canvas Amaze 2, we are looking at offering a seamless and connected smartphone experience, which makes their lives simpler and at the same time more amazing with benefits that come with the smartphone,” he added.
