Having announced the Canvas XL Phablet recently for Rs 13,990, the Indian mobile handset maker Micromax is out again with its new Canvas Turbo Mini A200. The Android based device is listed on online retailer flipkart and can be bought for Rs 14,990. We are also expecting this device to be available at stores within a fortnight. It draws its looks, style and many features including metallic body from its elder sibling, the Canvas Turbo. which had impressed many including us with its metallic body. Here are the key specifications and features of the new device-

Display- 4.7 inch display with a 720p resolution as compared to the 5 inch screen of the Canvas Turbo.
Processor, Chipset and RAM- 1.3 GHz quad core MT6582 processor and 1 GB RAM
Memory Details- 4 GB ROM (1.61 GB available for users), and 32 GB expandable memory
Camera- 8 megapixel rear camera combines with a 5 megapixel front camera. Hence, clicking photos, making videos and video calls.
Operating System- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
Sensors- Canvas Turbo Mini has light sensor, motion sensor, proximity sensor, and gravity sensors
Connectivity Options-There is WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port, and GPS in the phone as well.
With this launch, Micromax has added another low cost smartphone into its portfolio. Due to its multiple offerings at every price point, the company has grabbed a big pie of the Indian smartphone market and it is targeting the pole position in terms of volumes sold. If the trend goes on uninterrupted, the day isn’t away either. However, for the time being, it has to face competition from domestic makers like Karbonn and Lava and international makers like Samsung and Nokia.
