Mumbai's oldest mobile operator Loop Mobile has launched Saral Prepaid plans. Earlier 'Saral' type of plan names are only from state-owned BSNL/MTNL, however Loop choose it over other crunchy name for its latest prepaid plan, which is offering Local and STD calls at flat 30p/min; and SMS at 30paisa.
Loop has Saral prepaid and Saral prepaid extended packs for its both new and existing customers. Existing customers can recharge with STV38 which will offer STD calls for 30p/minute with fair usage limit of 800 minutes, post the limit STD calls will be charged at 50p/min. The validity of this STV38 is 30 days.
New customers will have to make first recharge with Rs 2 - which will give lifetime core validity. The tariff comes with FRC2 is as follows: all calls in India at 1paisa/second; local sms 50p, national sms Re1, international sms Rs 5, data usage at 50p/50KB. On roaming local calls & incoming calls are to be charged at Re1/min, all STD calls at Rs 1.50/min, SMS at Rs 3.45. Note that Loop offers free incoming calls while you roam in Maharastra and Goa. This tariff is valid for 6 months.
On the second recharge of STV46, the new customers will get core talktime of Rs 40.94, and local and STD calls and SMS at 30paisa flat for 90 days. Post 90 days subscriber will be charged under 1p/sec tariff plan, This offer is applicable to New Saral Plan subscribers only once.
