LG G7 One Android One Smartphone With Snapdragon 835 SoC Goes Official

South Korean electronics company, LG has launched a new Android One smartphone right ahead of the IFA 2018 event. The smartphone, dubbed as the LG G7 One has been unveiled along with the LG G7 Fit. The G7 One is an Android One smartphone with last year's Snapdragon 835 chipset on board, while the G7 Fit sports the two-year-old Snapdragon 821 SoC. Furthermore, both these devices share its specifications with the LG G7 such as QHD+ display, IP68 water & dust resistance and 4GB of RAM. LG did not reveal the prices of both the smartphones, but the company is expected to announce the same at IFA 2018 event.

LG G7 One Specifications and Features

The LG G7 One is a high-end Android One smartphone with Snapdragon 835 chipset underneath. Being an Android One smartphone, the smartphone boots stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. The chipset comes paired with 4GB of RAM, and the front of the phone is dominated by 6.1-inch Quad HD+ display carrying a resolution of 1440x3120 pixels. LG has added 32GB of internal storage to the smartphone which can be expanded up to 2 TB. The G7 One rocks a single 16MP camera on the rear, followed an 8MP front-facing shooter.

As for the connectivity options, the LG G7 One has support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC. The phone measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 156 grams. Lastly, the device is armed with a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

LG G7 Fit Specifications and Features

The LG G7 Fit also sports a 6.1-inch Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 1440x3120 pixels. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card. Cameras on the G7 Fit include a 16MP rear shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP shooter is present on the front with f/1.9 aperture. The G7 Fit has a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

Both the G7 Fit and G7 One has a 32-bit Hi-Fi audio DAC to deliver an enhanced audio listening experience to users. Both these devices have the MIL-STD 810G standard certification.

LG G7 ThinQ vs LG G7 One vs LG G7 Fit

The LG G7 ThinQ is the company's 2018 flagship device which also has a 6.1-inch QHD+ display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, dual 16MP sensors, 4GB of RAM, IP68 water and dust resistance and a 3000mAh battery. The G7 One has a single camera on the rear along with the older Snapdragon 835 SoC. On the flip side, the G7 Fit has the Snapdragon 821 SoC, under-the-hood, same single rear camera and a 3000mAh battery.
