Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone launched last week in India is now available for sale exclusively on Amazon India. If to recap, Z2 Plus is the rebranded version of Zuk Z2 launched in China earlier this year. Starting at Rs. 17,999, Z2 Plus is available in two variants – the 3GB RAM/32GB storage and the 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The 4GB RAM variant costs Rs. 19,999.
Lenovo Z2 Plus Specifications
Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone has a 5-inch full HD display, Android 6.0.1 operating system, and a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU. Lenovo’s Z2 Plus is claimed to be the cheapest device to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. There is a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front unit for the phone. Powering the phone is an embedded 3500mAh battery, featuring a fast charging with Quick Charge 3.0.
In addition, Lenovo Z2 Plus features the U-Touch Button for one hand experience. Besides being a fingerprint sensor, U-Touch can perform seven different tasks and can be customized to launch user’s favorite apps. Its fingerprint sensor is paired with a self-learning algorithm, meaning it’s equipped to detect irregularities on the skin such as a skin peel, wound, dry skin, etc. It can also unlock wet/oily fingers, Lenovo claimed. In terms of connectivity, Z2 Plus has a dual-SIM configuration and supports 4G VoLTE. Other connectivity options on board include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
This Lenovo smartphone also comes preloaded with the U-Health app, capable of keeping track of the user’s steps, calories, and distance 24 x 7. It stores the data on the phone, enabling the user to track the progress.
Lenovo Z2 Plus Price and Amazon Launch Offers
As a part of the launch, Lenovo has announced some special offers for customers buying the smartphone till October 3. One is a Rs. 15,000 Yatra eCash from Yatra.com on the app. Another is an 80% off on Kindle eBooks up to a maximum of Rs. 500 on the Kindle app. There is a 5% cashback if the purchase is made with an HDFC credit or debit card. Lenovo is also offering a Chrono Case at a discounted price of Rs. 999 (original price is Rs. 1,299), Skullcandy Ando earphones (Rs. 1,299) and a Stealth Case worth Rs. 699.
Buyers who are buying the smartphone from the Amazon app also get a chance to win 100% cash-back (valid only for the first sale on 27 September). There are only two colour variants available – Black and White.
