After teasing it for a while, Lenovo has finally launched the Vibe S1 smartphone in India. The device has been priced at Rs. 15,999, and will be exclusively up for sale on Amazon India from tomorrow. The Lenovo Vibe S1 created quite a buzz at the IFA 2015, thanks to its dual front-facing cameras.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 features a 5-inch FHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, and is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. There is a 13-megapixel of primary camera on-board with dual-color flash, along with dual-front facing cameras, the two lenses on the front are of 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel. The 8-megapixel lens captures the image’s detail and sharpness, while the 2-megapixel lens collects information about depth as per human perception, in order to come up with flawless front clicks.
The device supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM (nano SIM), 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It is backed by a 2,500mAh of battery, and comes embodied in an Aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass protection on both the sides. The device will be available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color options.
