Lenovo has a good reason to celebrate today. Three of the smartphones released by the company this year - the Lenovo A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000 - have already crossed the 1 million units-benchmark, in terms of the number of devices that have been sold. This feat was accomplished in only a span of six months.
The Lenovo A6000 released in January this year, with the A6000 Plus and A7000 being released subsequently. Each these devices were available for sale through the online retailer, Flipkart. Lenovo made use of the flash sale model for selling its devices, a model that has been popularly endorsed by many smartphone makers of late.
While currently these devices are out-of-stock, the A6000 Plus and the A7000 will resume sale between June 20 and June 24, as announced by the company. Both of these flagship devices are feature-rich packages packing in some impressive specifications. The Lenovo A7000 which has a 5.5-inch HD display screen is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752, octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat and provides 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel camera, a secondary 2-megapixel camera and a 2,300mAh battery. It has been priced at Rs. 8,999.
The Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with a 5-inch HD screen and runs on a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 4.4KitKat as well. You get 15GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel primary camera, a secondary 2-megapixel camera and a 2,300 mAh battery. The Lenovo A6000 Plus is priced at Rs. 7,499.
