Idea Cellular has silently introduced a new entry-level prepaid tariff plan of Rs 109 for its prepaid subscribers in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle. This new plan is listed on the company's website and also on My Idea application, meaning it could be an open market plan in the said circle. With this plan, Idea is offering benefits of unlimited voice calls, data and SMS benefits for a period of 14 days, still not for 28 days like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
Talking about the benefits, the Rs 93 prepaid tariff plan of Idea Cellular provides 1GB of 3G/4G data, unlimited voice calls including roaming calls to any network and 100 SMS per day for 14 days. Also, the voice calls are limited to just 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
This plan is similar to that of Idea Cellular's Rs 93 plan, but it offers benefits for ten days, while the Rs 109 plan offers the same benefits for 14 days. Idea is still short of Reliance Jio, and Bharti Airtel as both the telcos are offering benefits for 28 days.
Reliance Jio's Rs 98 prepaid tariff plan gives a user unlimited voice calls without any limit, 300 SMS and 2GB of 4G data for 28 days. On the other hand, Airtel also has a Rs 93 prepaid tariff plan, and for select users, the company is providing 1GB data, unlimited voice calls including roaming calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days from the date of recharge.
But sadly, Airtel's plan is limited to a few users, while Idea Cellular plan is limited to a few circles. For now, we can confirm the Rs 109 plan's availability in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle. Comment down if your circle has the new Rs 109 prepaid recharge plan from Idea Cellular.
