There, however, is no provision for roaming outgoing in this recharge plan. The pack also comes with 1GB of 2G/3G/4G internet data for the whole validity period. This means users with any handset whether its a 2G/3G device can avail the data benefits.

Idea Cellular said the plan is applicable for non-commercial use only. The Unlimited calling, hence, is limited to 250 outgoing minutes per day and 1000 minutes in a week. Post usage customers will be charged 1p/sec for the rest of the period.

Prepaid customers of Idea Cellular can avail Rs 93 recharge plan via electronic recharge or directly in your phone using *150*93# USSD code. In contrast, both Airtel and Reliance Jio also has similar plans of Rs 93 and Rs 98.

Airtel’s Rs 93 Prepaid Recharge

Airtel also introduced a Rs 93 recharge plan as part of Prepaid Promise scheme. The company Rs 93 tariff plan offers similar benefits for a period of 10 days. The recharge offers unlimited local/STD voice calling along with roaming outgoing. Unlike Idea, Airtel prepaid plan is offering unlimited voice calling without any FUP.

In addition, Airtel’s tariff plan bundles 1GB data for ten days with no daily cap. Once again, the data benefit applies to all handsets. Also included in the pack is 100 SMS per day.

Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 Prepaid Recharge

Idea and Airtel’s unlimited plan is aimed at Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 plan.
Jio is offering unlimited voice calling without any FUP for a period of 14 days. The pack also has 150MB daily data taking the total data benefit to 2.1GB. It also offers 140 SMS for the entire validity period.

Jio’s plan offers better data benefits than Airtel and Jio, while Airtel is the best choice for SMS benefits. Idea plan, on the other hand, offers a bit of everything from data to calling benefits. Overall, Jio’s recharge plan offers the best value for money as compared to others as it has more days validity and more internet data.
