Idea Cellular Offers 200,000 hours of free internet access for Opera Mini users

Idea Cellular is giving away 200,000 hours of free internet access, over the next 20 days, to its users through the webpass service on Opera Mini. For users who have never experienced the internet from their mobiles before.


To enjoy free internet on Idea Cellular, Opera Mini users simply have to go to the Speed Dial page in Opera Mini and click on ‘Idea Web Pass’. From here, they can select ‘Free Internet Trial Pass (3 MB)’ from the list of web passes. Users can avail one web pass each during this campaign, which entitles them to one hour of free internet, upto 3 MB, during that day.

The 200,000 hours of free internet are available for the next 20 days. On each day, the Free Internet Trial Pass can be availed by 10,000 users on a first-come, first-served basis.

Idea subscribers who don’t already have Opera Mini on their phones can visit and download Opera Mini absolutely free. Opera Mini works on almost all kinds of phones, from basic Java phones to the latest Android and iOS smartphones.

Today’s paper too there was news about BSNL’s dirty attitude towards helping private operators,this is the fourth time i was seeing this kind of news about BSNL. see; The news states that the directors of BSNL is showing complete negligence to basic services and it’s expansion.The network expansion was stopped ,ceasing commission new 2G and 3G towers,no new broadband and telephone services as there is no cable available,many towers were not working as batteries were dead, Kerala circle now excluded from expansion GSM phase 7 by ceasing money allotment for various expenditures and expansion programs. Not only now but from a long time BSNL has been playing the fool in the telecom sector. I mean just imagine with 900 Mhz of spectrum allocated on a pan India basis except for Mumbai and Delhi BSNL if managed properly and in a meaningful manner without any corruption should have the best coverage in the whole of India. Plus BSNL is the only one to have pan india 3G spectrum allocated to them before time. Thoung Kerala circle was showing some positive growth in terms of revenue for BSNL but things are going worse it seems .. !!
