Idea launches Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB 3G smartphone, with free 3G data benefits

Idea has introduced 2 new 3G smartphones Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB 3G smartphone . Both the devices will be sold through Idea’s retail channel spread across its key 3G markets including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh (East), Uttar Pradesh (West), and Punjab.

Idea Ultra+ is a dual-SIM with  1.3 GHz Quad core processor and 1GB RAM and comes with 8MP camera and is priced at Rs. 8,300.

For the first time smartphone buyers, and/or existing feature phone users Idea has introduced the stylish FAB which offers smooth ‘swipe typing’ feature, built in social networking apps, GPS, Wifi hotspot, Gorilla Glass, 3.2 MP camera with flash, and more. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2 OS, offering superior performance on 3G. At the price of Rs. 4,999.

Like all other Idea 3G smartphones, the new devices will also come with a special offer for Idea 3G users offering 3G data benefits of 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs. 259 for existing subscribers, and 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs. 261 for new subscribers.

I have been using Idea smartphone in Pune. They are not networked lock and are very attractively priced wrt to samsung and nokia.
