Idea Cellular, India’s third-largest telecom network, announced another couple of plans exclusively for their postpaid users under the ‘Ultimate Combo Plans.' The new plans cost Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 1,599 and the major USP of these schemes are unlimited voice calls to any network in India.

The new plans are currently available in some regions of the country, and Idea will roll out these plans to every circle of India shortly. Let’s take a close look at what these plans will offer.

1) Unlimited Voice Calls

The principal aim of these plans is to provide unlimited voice calls all over India. With the increasing craze for Reliance Jio in the country, Idea Cellular also came out with the unlimited calling offer last week with the introduction of their Rs. 348 plan and the same applies here as well.

2) 3000 Local and National SMS

Users whoever recharge with the new Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 1,599 plan will also get 3000 local and national SMS valid for 30 days. Typically, it becomes 100 SMS per day as TRAI restricted all networks to access only 100 SMS per day.

4) 5GB 4G/3G/2G Data+5GB Complete 4G Data on Rs. 1,599 Pack

Having said that, the Rs. 1,599 plan offers, 5GB of 4G data for users with a 4G handset and every other user, 5GB of standard 3G/2G data will be credited to their account.

5) Exclusively for Idea Postpaid Customers

Do make a note that these plans are only for Idea postpaid customers. And, existing users can also shift to this pack, but for new users, an additional amount of Rs. 300 will be charged as installation fee, which is completely refundable.
