I dont understand the logic behind buying an post paid plan, unless its a corporate plan where you company pays your bills. postpaid bills are subjected to service tax which make them costly. 30p add 15% service tax which makes it 34.5p/ min. Plus disputed bill issues. Where you use it or not you have to pay certain fixed amout everymonth. where as in prepaid you can easily buy full talktime vouchers where you get full value for your money. rate cutters show you the final price if it says 30p its 30p only no service tax on it. now a days postpaid plans not making any sense; because its costing too much; we do not see voice+sms+data at affordable price tag. see after paying 399 / 499; calls will be costing loacal @ 35p/ std @ 55; this is too much. morethan whether using or not we would need to pay fixed amount. there should be option of carryforward balance not used; And any plan along with tax which is costing <30paise should a good one; otherwise its not going to serve purpose.

Very true. Want to add one more points, MNP problem also with postpaid users. In prepaid, MNP process is quite simple.
The plus point to be postpaid customer is you get roaming in J&K and access to premium call centre as advertised by Vodafone in their Red plans.
