Idea Cellular Launches New Roaming Offer

By July 1st, 2013 AT 9:11 PM

Idea Cellular has launched a new roaming offering with rates that are in par with home rates, without additional roaming charges. Idea’s new value vouchers priced between Rs 230-240 and Rs 35-40 (varying from circle to circle) offer the same rates the user pays in home circle for local, STD, ISD calling and SMS.

Further, Idea Cellular has reduced incoming roaming charges to 75 paise per minute for users who avail Rs 35-40 voucher, while incoming is free for those who avail Rs 230-240 voucher.

Idea users who recharge with the new vouchers will be able to enjoy the roaming benefits for six months from the date of recharge. The new special roaming vouchers would be available starting today, across all 22 circles.

For Tamilnadu and Chennai :

The IDEA roaming pack is Rs.41 for incoming at Rs.0.75 per min benfit and Rs.231 for 6 months incoming free benefit. Existing home network booster pack will not get cancelled. But the benefit will not be applicable in national roaming.

Ok. But home network booster pack must be valid in national roaming also.

Compare with Airtel. Idea is best. For Airtel 79*6 =Rs.474 for 6 months
